Nexor Supports the Front Line – Returning Reservist Welcomed Back from Afghanistan


Petty Officer Andrew RobinsonNexor is delighted to welcome Petty Officer Andrew Robinson back to his role as technical systems support after his 6 month tour of duty in Afghanistan. Andrew spent his time in Helmand province providing IT support to 3 Commando Brigade. Nexor technology underpins a significant number of operational communications systems and Andrew has been able to provide valuable insight into life and work on the front line.

May 2010

Head of Research and Technology at Nexor, Andrew Kays, was invited to join a panel at the ISSD Conference on 20th and 21st May to share his personal experiences and the business benefits of CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) certification. The conference and the certification programme are run by (ISC)2. Andrew was one of the first people in the UK to qualify.

May 2010

Nexor has recently received support and assistance from the University of Nottingham’s Environmental Technology Centre in developing a draft Environmental Policy which is specifically tailored to reflect Nexor’s business. The University provided information on what an environmental policy should contain and gave specific advice on developing a simple but effective framework on which performance can be monitored. Nexor is continuing to work on its Environmental Policy and is incorporating this into the wider context of a Corporate Responsibility Policy.
