Nexor Chat Guardian Provides High Assurance Protection for Instant Messages
The new Nexor Chat Guardian is a high assurance instant messaging guard running on HP Proliant hardware with SELinux. Chat Guardian provides network separation for multiple domains and validates that inbound and outbound chat messages conform to the security policy of each protected domain.
The Government-funded Technology Strategy Board and the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) are backing a £1.7m R&D project to develop an innovative model for integrated Governance, Risk and Compliance (iGRC) submitted in response to the Technology Strategy Board’s 2009 Information Infrastructure Protection funding competition. Nexor announced today that it has successfully integrated ITT’s PuriFile® file inspection application into its mailguard, Nexor Sentinel Version 3. ITT's PuriFile software performs deep analysis of various Microsoft Office file formats and .pdf files.
