Nexor Defender for Motif is a high assurance messaging user agent for communities that use Unix workstations and the Motif/CDE windows environment. It presents the user with a graphic user interface that is similar to Microsoft Outlook but in military/intelligence messaging environments.

The user is provided with future-proof functionality in the form of an extensible security architecture that allows alternative security libraries to be 'plugged in' as required. A unique feature is that communities of users with different security libraries can work with each other. Nexor Defender for Motif includes a directory browser that enables users to access global and local email addresses without needing to remember complex email address formats.
